hi weekend!

I can’t stop looking at my new design. It’s just so pretty and pink!

I went to sleep so early last night, woke up around 2:30AM for an hour and went back to bed. I was exhausted. I was hoping I’d sleep a little later but of course, my body hates me and I was up at 8:30 this morning.

Plans for this weekend:

- go buy ugly nursing shoes and white scrub pants
- laundry
- get organized
- watch movies with boyfriend
- possibly go out tonight
- study study study for my test on Monday

What do you have planned?

Also, you can still ask questions here, I’ll be doing my answer entry Monday most likely.

Also, also, I joined Facebook to see what all that nonsense is about. I don’t see the addictive qualities just yet. Maybe because I have no friends on it? Someone explain the Facebook trap to me, plz.

    It took me a while to start becoming a regular Facebook user, and now it’s possible I’m addicted. Be wary of the Facebook addiction! It sucks away hours of time without you even realizing it!

    As far as this weekend goes, I plan on hiding from Pilot and studying for my boards. I also plan on NOT responding to the email that my ex sent me.

    I got a lovely pedicure that I smudged as soon as I left the spa :( It was super relaxing though, so now I’m hanging out on the couch reading blogs.

    So far this weekend has been cleaning house, watched Iron Jawed Angels, walked for 1 hour, went out for lunch, Barnes and Noble, dropped off recycles, returned movies, and trimmed dogs nails. I’m tired and its not even 6pm! I’m still supposed to go out tonight!

    I really had minimal plans for today/tomorrow. Today: brunch, hung out with my roommate’s nephew (so fun), watch Miss America (seriously). Sunday: Laundry, groceries, yoga, some reading, movie watching.

    Umm…I heart Facebook (more than I should). So addictive. We can be friends :)

    Oh Facebook. U of I was part of the first wave of schools to be added to that site. Before everyone and their mother and their dog-walking group could get on there, schools and groups had to be created and approved and it took FOREVERRRR.

    But. It was introduced towards the middle of my sophomore year of college and promptly took over my life. In college, there is no more valuable resource than FB. In the real world, it’s like a weird stalker network (that is often all kinds of useful if you meet someone at a bar and only remember a few details about them and want to know more so that the next time you see them, you don’t look like a tool.).

    Also, you mentioned somewhere about a Chicago Blogger (HATE that word) meetup thing. I am of the opinion that this should totally happen.

    I cleaned my room! Wow, awesome. I’m loving the new design too, btw…I actually let out an OOooOOOooo sound when I first saw it.
    And I’d say ADD ME on facebook but one, I am boring, and two my profile is hidden after that weird stalker incident…but if you get desperate let me know and I’ll hunt you down.

    Scrabulous. That’s the only thing that has me hooked on Facebook. As for the rest of it- meh. But Scrabulous, oh my word, how I love it.

    Almost as much as I love your new layout.

    YOur design is just delighful and lovely. Suits you perfect.
    My weekend was a beach weekend, just perfect.
    I am the queen of facebook…so lame. just a tip dont add all the stupid applications, ignore them, it just makes it all so messy, I find sticking to the basic the best. I only have 3 applications that doesnt take forever t scroll down the page.
    I am pretty addicted, I found all my high school friends and its great to communicate with my friends all over the world.

    as for the weekend, i was pretty lame. i’ve been saving all my energy for a night out with the girls, which will take place on tuesday! i studied off and on, worked out off and on, ate off and on, and last but not least–caught up on some sleep. other than that, i did nothing.
