what makes fall super amazing

September 9th, 2008 at 9:00 am . Posted in tv .

The television line up.

Duh.

I’m pretty low maintance. I’m pretty happy with some snacks, good shows and some cuddling. Boyfriend’s the same way so we definitely have our ‘shows’ and tv nights. One of my favorites is Wednesdays for obvious reasons, Project Runway and ANTM. Now it’s fall and all the good shows are starting again, how do you pick what to watch and watch to DVR?!

Decisions, decisions.

Shows I’m looking forward to this fall (besides my current regulars, of course):

Everyone knows I am obsessed with this Grey’s Anatomy. It’s gone downhill, yes, but I cannot pull myself away.

One of my newest shows. Dirty Sexy Money. Love it.

Entourage started Sunday. Yay!

Fringe actually is a new show. I’m not even going to lie, I’m all about some Pacey Witter and he’s the reason I’ll be watching. Thanks.

There is more, so so much more but these are just a few. Need a full lineup of what’s on what network at what time? I got you covered.

What is on your must see tv fall line up?

Being a UK girl I don’t get those but…New ANTM in 2 weeks time, Heroes S3 in 2 weeks time, Lipstick Jungle S1 this month as well I think.

Am waiting patiently for Gossip Girl S2, Supernatural S4, BSG Finale, Dirty, Sexy, Money S2 but I don’t have dates on those yet.

Also can’t wait for a bit of Whedon and Dollhouse.

Omg, I’m double booked on so many nights–Thursdays kill me! Plus, I’ve been trying to figure out why I’ve been tired lately and then I remembered, oh yeah, half the stuff I watch doesn’t start until 10. For the last few months I could be asleep by 10 if I really wanted to be!

My top shows I’m looking forward to: Ugly/Grey’s/Lost (I <3 Thursdays!). Plus, the Real World/Road Rules Challenge–I barely know any of the cast anymore but I still love those shows!

I’m totally going to be watching Grey’s.
Also I plan on watching ER religiously and blogging about it.

The final season of ER means my childhood is officially over. Sigh.

I’m all about Fringe too but only because it’s J.J. Abrams, and he kicks some serious ass.

Grey’s HAS gone down, however I still love it. I’m not giving up on it! Entourage has gotten bad as well and although I’ll still watch it, i’m not nearly as excited about it as I am other shows. Like Heroes. Yay Heroes!

So excited for Grey’s Anatomy. I’ll have to wait to watch Entourage, like so many other sad souls who do not have HBO.

But did you get to see True Blood? It’s a new one on HBO (I think) and it was awesome!

I went ahead, looked at all of the local networks, cross-referenced them to find out which were simulcasting and which were airing the same shows at different times, then made a schedule in Excel. I have about 20 hours of television mapped out with times, channels, days, and noted for season premiere dates. I also went ahead and made an Overflow schedule, for those shows that air at the same time as a more important show. If I had a DVR, I would never leave the house or have a life.

I need to find a new boy toy of my own to cuddle up on the couch with!

I want to watch Fringe too! I like J.J. Abrams (and Pacey). Also, new this fall I watched True Blood on HBO this past Sunday and it was interesting. It’s from the same guy who did Six Feet Under, which is my favorite show of all time, and it’s about vampires. Pretty cool.
Oh JB, I just saw you watched it! Yay!

I’m such a TV junkie–I’ve got every day except Friday & Saturday pretty much blocked off for TV time. Chuck, Heroes, Greys, Lost, House, Survivor, ANTM, Project Runway, Pushing Daisies….just to name some returning favorites. I’m actually kind of glad that this year there aren’t as many new shows so I don’t have to do as much juggling of the schedule as I normally do.

I LOVELOVELOVE Prison Break. God, Wentworth Miller…yum.

ANTM, Project Runway (you got me hooked last season and now MrB watches it with me, which is why we chose PR first, then ANTM)

Also Sara Conner Chronicles (which is odd since I don’t remember the Terminator movies, but it’s a good show). Also added a guilty pleasure, Swingtown, which actually started in the summer but is still running.

I’m very intrigued my the Dirty Sexy Money. haven’t heard of it before, so I’ll have to check it out!

How was Fringe? I love all involved, but not sure how it will be pulled off.

I’m an admitted TV addict. I’m stoked on basically everything…including the faltering Grey’s, but Demps is so hot, so whatevs. Also, my lovely Thursday sitcoms of 30 Rock and The Office shall return. Woot!

And, Entourage. Ah, Vinny Chase. He looked scrumptious last night. Very tan, his hair messy and gorgeous. Yes, please.

I never used to be into TV, but in more recent years, I’ve become attached to my shows. I cannot wait for The Office and Grey’s. And I’m already watching ANTM, Project Runway, Greek (it’s awful but SOOOO good) and Entourage.
