playing catch up is hard work

October 8th, 2008 at 12:51 pm . Posted in bloggy things, Las Vegas, me elsewhere .

I overslept today. My reader is at a billion. I have so much admin work to do on the shopping blog. Class! I’m exhausted. My brain hurts.

But I’m back. Did you miss me? Did I miss anything?!

I had an AMAZING time in Las Vegas and almost didn’t come back. I have a ton to write about and a few pictures. Sorry, I was totally slacking on the photo front. I have my poor feet to care for. I feel like I can sleep for three days!

Highlights:
- Vanilla Ice playing craps 5 feet away from me
- Tao
- the food!
- our Macauley Caulkin room (what?)
- Paris
- getting serenaded on a gondola

Low Lights:
- buying new heels and attempting to wear them to the club
- my feet feeling like they are going to fall off
- the bandaids…oh, the bandaids
- spending $75 on those bitch ass uncomfortable heels that tore my feet up

In Blog News:
- Thanks Katelin and Amanda for guest posting! You girls are awesome and I love you both.
- My shopping blog is now on Alltop! So is Umm…Now What? Yay!
- a new giveaway at the the shopping blog as well
- a bunch of posts of mine up at Rone Break

So go check those things out while I try to process my ridiculous weekend!

You were only five feet away from Vanilla Ice? I would have had to hump him.

You should have talked to “the ice”. I once was under the influence of too many shots and had him sign… my chest area. Because I’m klassy. Anyway, long story short, he was really nice in person. Perhaps that had something to do with the fact he was seeing half my boob, but I like to think that wasn’t why.

Okay, I’m thinking this whole comment shouldn’t be shared but I like to live on the edge. How did you like PH?

Macauley Caulkin? Were there tons of movie posters from Home Alone in your room?

My feet are currently covered in band-aids from poor shoe choices as well. I feel your pain, sister.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have come back from Vegas either. Anything that reminds me of Venice…

….please tell me you have a photo of Vanilla Ice playing craps.

And I love heels, but I can hardly ever wear them, because EVERY PAIR hurts me feet. I have old-lady-grandma-orthopedic feet syndrome.

Occasionally, though, I suffer for the benefit of looking sexy.

Sounds like y’all had an awesome time. I certainly hope you took LOTS of photos to document the trip! And at least the only negatives you pointed out pertained to a pair of shoes. It could have been a lot worse…

I would have left after seeing Ice next to me. Your trip couldn’t have got any better than that.

It sounds like you had an awesome trip! I was there last summer, and I too spent the week in shoes that killed me feet. Totally worth it though!

    Did you love Tao?
