the one with the blue puppy in the snow

December 4th, 2008 at 11:28 am . Posted in Edie .

Tuesday night I got home from work to find my dog covered in blue ink*. Turns out she chewed a pen and it busted. Luckily, it didn’t seem to be in her mouth, just all over her white fur patches. She never chews things up either! Figures the one day she decides to chew on something it’s a pen.

Well the next morning, I took Edie out before I left for work and there was some snow on the ground. My puppy has decided she loves snow. She runs around in circles and races all around the backyard skidding and sliding in the snow. It’s the funniest thing ever!

There isn’t a ton of snow on the ground in this video and you can’t really tell but I was kicking the snow up at her and she was biting and chasing it.

Take a peek at my blue corgi playing in the snow! Sorry in advance for my shoddy camera skills and my giggling like a 12 year old.

Is it sad that I’m looking forward to when the snow piles up even more so I can take more** video of her? And I HATE*** snow.

* Some of you may have seen my frantic twittering asking for someone to tell me my dog wasn’t going to die.
** Hopefully not blue while doing so or I might have a heart attack thinking my dog is going to die again.
*** HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE

So adorable! My family’s yellow Lab likes to chew on pens, so we’re always on the look out to make sure none fall on the floor.

Ahhhhhhhh! You have a Corgi! Best dog in the universe. My Corgi Jackson chewed up a blew pen once, too, and then tried to get up on the bed while successfully covering my bone colored pants I’d set out for work a lovely navy. And yet we love them anyway…

In highschool a classmate of mine bit on a pen that exploded in his mouth. Gross, but not fatal. I think the fur was the preferable location for the ink to land.

Awww so cute! The only good thing about the snow is playing with puppies in it. Seriously. It was 53 in Boston here today but I hear we might get snow this weekend!!

I can’t wait for it to snow here more too, when it does my dog hops like a bunny through it. I can’t wait to get video of that.

She’s so cute! I love that she loves the snow because I’m fairly positive Lucy would give me the ‘You want me to go to the bathroom in THAT?’ look. … She doesn’t like getting her paws wet. *shrugs*

I cannot wait for more snow videos!
