新標準設計
武漢體育中心體育場是一座可容納6萬名觀眾的大型體育場，占地4.5萬平方米，建筑面積7.8萬平方米，耗資5個億。整體工程都是按照國際足聯和國際田聯的最新標準設計的，56根Y型大柱鋼結構懸挑梁支高高撐起四周的觀眾席，氣勢宏大。僅用于挑梁的鋼材就用了5千噸，是武船的工人搭建的，而觀眾席座位用的則是飛機專用座。

在體育場的一樓，歐佰天花為武漢體育中心大量地應用室內標準天花和造型天花。應用地方有運動員和裁判員休息室、國際足聯和田聯官員辦公室，運動員入口處是興奮劑檢測室和醫務室，30多間各種功能的房間里，武漢體育中心的室內空間設計目前在國內是具有現代前衛。

The new standard design
Wuhan Sports Center Stadium is a large sports stadium which can hold 60,000 people in it. It covers an area of 45,000 square meters, with a construction area of 78,000 square meters, at a cost of 0.5 billion. The whole project is designed in accordance with the new standard of FIFA and IAAF. The 56 Y shape column steel structure suspended cantilever beam highly support the surrounding auditorium, looking
quite spectacular. The steel for cantilever beam alone costs 5000 tons, built by Wuhan shipyard workers. And the spectator seat uses the seat for aircraft.On the first floor of the stadium, Oubuys Ceiling applies widely the indoor standard ceiling and stylistic ceiling for the Wuhan Sports Centre. The applicated places are: the athletes and referees lounge, the FIFA and the IAAF official office. At the entrance of athletes, are the stimulant testing room and clinic. The indoor space design of the 30 various functional rooms of Wuhan Sports Center is very modern and avant-garde.
